Stella's Girls' mission is to educate and empower youth to become leaders and social change agents in their communities. Our research-based programming is delivered by trained volunteers who focus on developing the whole youth, supporting, mentoring, and guiding youth in an affirming pro-equity environment.
Here, girls learn to value their whole selves, discover and develop their inherent strengths, and receive the support they need to navigate their challenges. Stella's Girls provides programs and services to girls living in vulnerable populations across East & West Africa and throughout rural Maryland, USA. Our program focuses on underserved and vulnerable girls, but it is also centered around boys!
